I took today off to go to the DMZ (sic) and swap out the title and do the inspecty thingy on the Buick.
When that’s done I’ll finish up the drywalling on the built-in shelves. A funny thing happened on the demolishing of the old Sheetrock. I found something.
There was also a failed elementary school test in there. Perhaps if we tore out other walls we could see if the girls grades improved, or perhaps have a fruit salad. Then again she may just not like bananas. There were also about 4 or 5 door knob size circle pieces of drywall in the wall. Did she think to herself, “UH OH gotta hide this” then slam the door into the wall to create the hole to hide the evidence? Did her parents teach her this? I wonder what we’ll find in the bedroom walls. Bananas? Cucumber? Ping-Pong balls? Ex husbands? Wait, the bedroom door swings into the closet door. Damn. Ah, but there could be a skeleton in the closet then!
Better stop fantasizing and get a move on to the DMZ.
