Much to do about nothing…

Server is up and running. Just a few tweaks here and there and all will be well.

The bathroom is coming along at a different pace than I thought it would. I figured I would be further along than I am, but at the same time I got a lot more done yesterday than i thought I would, or would need too.

The idea was to install the new fan closer to the shower. When the contractors installed the turbine for the attic we had them install a new roof jack for the fan. They did not place it where I asked the to. This really limited us on where we could put the fan. Since it was going to be so close to the current light, it seemed very silly to have the current light there since the bath fan also has a separately wired light. So out it went. We were originally going to just not put a light in where the old bath fan was, but then decided that it would be nice to have a light there once winter came along and it was dark out. So, since the bath fan needs a 3-wire run, and the spot for the old fan/new light now only needs a 2-wire run, there was a bunch of Patrick fitting into 20*20 hole and re-wiring. Amazingly there was not much cussing. The nice thing is now we have the vanity area, the fan light over the shower, and the fan itself all on separate switches. The fan actually being on a countdown timer. The other nice thing is that I should now be able to do a very easy drywall patch.
I hope.
I just need to get the fan in today, go see Jake at Providence, and something else that I believe was going to take a bit of my time that I can’t seem to recall what exactly it was.

Whew.
