Vacation

So I got word that Lucy was going to be n display at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle and that Attendance wasn’t so good. Since it was kind of a once in a lifetime thing, and Melissa has been wanting to go to Seattle, and We had a crapload of airline miles that she won at work that would actually get us to Seattle, we went to Seattle.
Since the tickets were mostly free, we spent the money on the hotel room. We stayed at the Hyatt. I now understand the difference between Best Western type hotels and Hyatt Type hotels. In this case I would say worth every penny just because of the location. We ended up pretty central to everywhere we wanted to be and it was relatively quiet. We walked past the other hotels we looked at such as the Best Western and the Holiday Inn. Aside from the construction that was going on next to them, they were right off the highway or very busy roads, and on the upper edge of town. (meaning North, not upper crust) Next time we go to Seattle, we will be spring for the Hyatt or similar again.

Roosevelt

It was a straight shot down to the Market every morning for breakfast.

The exhibit was great, there is a lot of info on Ethiopia that I knew, but never new was Ethiopia, or how it all tied together. There was also a lot of stuff I didn’t know. There was an audio tour that went with it all.

Mostly we just walked around Downtown Seattle.
I relaxed for the first time in a long time.
It was good.
