Summer is leaving. It never really got here all that much, but I woke up around 2am and it was dark out. Crap.
Have to finish the Kitchen floor.
Finish the window seat.
Pile up kindling in the crawlspace.
Do the drywall for the dryer vent.
Cut a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom for the new vent fan.
Cut another hole to access the electrical to wire the vent fan.
Patch the hole for the old vent fan.
Get ethanol for the kindling (must be environmentally conscious after all, eh?)
Drywall/built-in shelves in the loft for the new dryer vent corner that sticks out.
Mastic the air leaks in the crawl space heat vents to keep the crawl space smell from coming in.
Asbestos the common wall of the house. (The shared wall with the neighbor)
Clean the garage so the vehicle can get in for winter.
Remove the Trex from the deck. ($$$) Store elsewhere.
Paint various parts of the house.
Ignite the kindling.
Hope no one notices that all our stuff was in the driveway.
Find new insurance company
Do 10 to 20.
Get out and build from scratch.
The really sad part is I could truly never bring myself to burn it down.
We put too much work/energy into this house. The wood that they built the house with is good framing lumber. Nice and stable with hardly any knots in it. We would simply have to reuse it.
