My E-bay pile is getting bigger and bigger. What is sad, is I think I may be at the point where it would have been cheaper to have bought a new system, it certainly would have been easier. So far so good on that, but it’s still not really done.
Spent an hour (=/-) cleaning the snow off the roof yesterday. Melissa was getting worried about ice dams . I really didn’t want to get up there. it was only 1°F outside and I figured it was going to be slick up there. I warmed up pretty quickly after I started shoveling. I’m glad I went up there though, the ridge vent and our turbine were snowed over. All the bath vents were buried except the one I did this summer. and the sewer vents were just little holes in the snow. One good windy day and we would’ve had a loverly smell in the house; aside from me.
This morning the house has been making very loud banging and popping sounds.
I’m a bit worried.
