So we finally get introduced to Paddy. Kinda sorta. At the very least we know he’s in Tacoma, Downtown near the glass museum. It probably wasn’t there before either. For those not familiar with the area (why would you be, ever since the 90’s Seattle gets all the limelight.) The “Tit” in panel two is the Tacoma Dome. It’s a large event place for concerts, expos, monster truck rally’s, and other mayhem. We also learn that it has been a long while since Paddy has last been in Tacoma. The 11th Street bridge was renamed “The Murray Morgan Bridge” in 1997 after Murray Morgan, a writer of historical books on the south sound area. Paddy comments checking in on Murray Morgan’s parents, not Murray.
Narrator: Later, way on the other side of town…
Paddy: Things have certainly changed. Actually feeling a bit lost.
Paddy: Last time I was here this place was full of ships! I’m sure I don’t remember the giant silver tit.
Paddy: ah-ha!
Paddy: 11th Street bridge! Nice to see some things still around.
Paddy: I should check in on Henry and Ada.
