I got the estimate on the car done for the other Insurance company. They basically Figured the value of the car, then stopped at 60%. I have the feeling I’m going to have a big fight on my hands. I really don’t want to deal with having a car payment, as much as I would like to get a new car.
Still working for Ken while he’s out of town. It’s getting better, or rather I’m getting used to it again. Have run into some strange glitches though.
The bathroom work did not go according to plan this weekend. I got the partition wall put up, meaning it’s framed in, drywalled, and mud/taped. It is not yet textured. The mud that I had I fskd up. I was mixing it in a plastic bucket and the mixer scraped and peeled the plastic bucket so that there were little bits of plastic in the mud. I had to get get more mud. I got hot mud, it dries faster. Too faster. I’m not that quick. I also can’t use it in the texture gun. That didn’t occur to me yesterday. The plan was to be back to using that shower by this morning. I’m also not sure when I’ll be able to get to the BORG to pick up some more.
I’m also out of room in the garage again.
Hrm, a new, smaller car is sounding real good now. :-)
