Galooting I will go…

Power tools have their place. Like for major sanding of large flat plywood. Or ripping stock to rough dimension. There are other times I like power tools.
My problem with them is multiple.
Today for instance, we needed to trim off the overhang from last nights glue ups.
A Normite probably would have (or build if not already built)used a router jig and the router, taking time to do the set up, then (possibly) cleaned up the rough edge with a small block plane.
We used the Block plane from the get go. Took us less time to trim all three panels then it would have been to set up the router, jig, and power cords. We also did it at 8am with no fear of waking the neighbors. Though some neighbors seem to have no fear of using power tools at 6am. Thus another reason to build a trebuchet :).

I thought I was going to add some pictures into the gallery between today’s glue-ups and food gathering.
Not gonna happen.
Since building the file server and transferring our photos over to it, the photos that have never really have been organized. At least not in 6+ years. I’m really surprised that neither Da Wife nor I in our anal retentiveness have never done it. Could it be the 3GB of photos in 178 various why did I name it that folders? Maybe it’s because the majority of the 5,402 files are in a secret camera file naming code that you need a PhD in quantum physics just to understand. NOPE! , we may be anal, but we’z lazy too. I guess it’ll to move up a bit in priority though.

Nah.
