Got the new processor, board, and ram installed into the new server case. 8 cores, 16Gig of ram, and a much quieter case make a big difference, there have been a few times where I wasn’t sure it was still running.
Melissa’s ‘new’ computer is built. It is also much quieter than the laptop was. I am now trying to get her old drive set up as a virtual machine on the server so that I can recover our Office Ultimate key ans well as have a usable license for my machine to play games on. It is fighting back.
The Beam in the living room is refinished and caulked along the ceiling in preparation for the painting of the loft area ceiling. and thus begins the fixing of the house final stages.
Got new studded tires for the van. Conveniently we got dumped on with snow too. :-) The tires are absolutely brilliant.
