We got quite a bit accomplished; that we were actually trying to accomplish!
Friday night we went out and I had chicken saltimbocca. (I think. It had a thinly sliced chicken breast wrapped with a piece of prosciutto and sprinkled with Romano cheese & sage, served with a very thin garlic sauced pasta) It was very good. I’m going to have to make it at home one day.
Saturday I sprayed a bunch of weeds and began the front ‘yard’ (easement) landscaping. I started with the moving of all the little rocks that were there. T started near the house and got to the utilities before it was time to leave for Hope.
In the afternoon we had a lovely drive out to Hope to have dinner with Melissa’s parents who were camping out there. This was the first time I’d been out there, and the first time I didn’t drive. I got to see some of where I live. I spent most of the drive looking out the window. We had a good time with her parents, and Melissa drove home too. :-)
Today after getting Groceries I continued on with the digging out of the gravel, dirt and weeds.
There is a lot of gravel with dirt and weeds.
We now have a pile of dirt and rocks about 3feet wide running down the 50 feet of driveway.
I’m pooped.
I really need to get pictures off the camera and posted here.
