Vacation: Not at work. Paid to be elsewhere, not doing things for the company on company time.
Therefore, only Monday through Friday count as vacation time.
I’ve been officially on vacation for 15 minutes. I would normally be getting ready for work about now. Really, if they want me to wear a particular style of clothes, be shaved every day, and shower (just since it’s a list) then they should pay me from the time I start to get ready. I think I should also get paid when I have “work” dreams that involve my current employer. Dreams that involve my past employer should require a deposit into my retirement account by said employer. For those companies that are no longer in existence there is nothing that can be done. (though it does occur to me that I think I may have a retirement account with Huffy Service First. I wonder how I find out about that?)
The only thing I need to do today is take the car in to get an estimate on the damage.
