my neck and shoulders are a mess. They are making my hands fall asleep, and I can barely hold on to stuff. Went to the doctor yesterday and she start to set things right again, but it is going to take awhile. Yesterday afternoon it was so bad I had tears in my eyes while trying to work. This morning it’s a bit better, but I am sore.
Sunday I caved in and bought Age of Empires III and the expansion. I had been playing the demo for a while now. I Installed it on on my computer and couldn’t get it to run. It was coming up with all kinds of errors. I decided it was time to redo my Windows install, I’d been having too much trouble with it. At first I was going to change to Win2K since I am only using it for games anyhow, then I noticed that the AoE3 supported on Win2K. So an hour wasted, I popped in my image of XP. A completely clean install, tweaked and everything. It seems that I have changed enough hardware that the activation changed. The first time it said I had 3 days, no problem there, then I ran some updates and it wouldn’t let me log in until I re-activated it. Strangely enough, Microsoft’s servers were down until about 9PM. I bought the game around 4pm.
Melissa has been enjoying the game since Sunday.
I kept hearing BOOM! tehehe
The game has a physic engine, so instead of canned animations, the destruction and such is relatively different every time. Especially with the cannons, and there are some REALLY BIG F’N cannons. The cannon balls fly through ships, into buildings, through a bunch of people almost bowling like, or knocking them yards away as they flay helplessly. Wheee! There is a ton of eye candy in the game.
I got it installed last night.
BOOM! tehehe
