Well, dry foods like cereal, certainly do not last as long down here. I suppose it would be more accurate to say they last the same, normal few months as the rest of the country. Not the 2 years or so in the cabinet that time forgot, that I am assuming has an entrance to Narnia because of the sheer amount of items I pulled out of it when I started redoing the kitchen.
Must be something magical about the Anchorage dryness. Still 6 months, bought from an outlet store may have been asking for too much.
For the record, Kashi Crunch squeaks when it gets a bit stale. I think it was the first time I ever ate a physical representation of nails on a chalkboard. Cheese curds are a different squeak altogether.
