Just got back from Home Depot. We paid $80 for a sheet of plastic.
$80 for a 6 mil thick sheet of plastic.
For those that don’t do thickness measurements, that’s 6 thousandths of an inch.
0.006″ or 3/500 inch.
You can poke through it with a fat pen or a dull crayon.
Sure it’s 20 Feet (120,000/500 inch) wide by 100 Feet (600,000/500 inch) long, but still.
At this point I’ve probably lost all but two of you so here’s the deal. We bought the new vapor barrier for the crawl space tonight.
We spent the last few hours removing ALL the old stuff. It went much faster with the two of us rather than just me. It also doesn’t look near as bad as I was afraid it would. I’m told that this is called progress.
We got some “Natural Sunshine” lights for the bedroom. Natural Moonlight is more like it. There is a major loss in the color band, and for 90 Watt equivalents, they sure are dim. I’m going to try them in the bedside lamps instead.
Had dental appt today. All clear.
Had Family gathering for Morgan’s Bday today. Had a good time. Fun was had by all.
