“Ticking away, the moments that make up a new day…” -pink floyd

I don’t understand it. Some how the secret got out. I have the ability to make time. I tried to keep it quiet, I would use it only at home. Give it to loved ones, usually Melissa or the dog. The cat seemed to have enough of his own time, but every now and again, usually on Saturday mornings before anyone else is up and I am on the computer he finds he is a little short on time, and he crawls up on my lap and has me make some for him. I’ve always managed to make time for last minute family gatherings, which is good because of the temporal time distortion.

Family time = (Catching up time)(Nap time+Dessert time)/(Drive time*family members)(meal time)10

You’d think this would be easy because it only takes me a little bit of time to get ready, and Melissa only takes a little bit of time to get ready, yet we’re almost never on time. This seems to be in direct relation to distance to travel. The closer to home we are going, the less likely it is that we will be on time. But it’s OK, because we always have a good time.

Maybe it was a co-worker that let the secret out. Someone had commented on my various hobbies, and some of the strange (sic) things I’ve done and he said I had too much time on my hands. I think my supervisor over heard, and stitched it all together because now she’s come up with many things that I need to make time for. I tried to tell her that there is a vortex in the office and there is no need for me to make time because there is a lot of lost time. If we could simply find the time then we could work on some of the less important things when time allowed. She didn’t buy it. She said that we haven’t had any downtime in a long time and by the way, how many movies did you watch on your vacation time?

I said it just wasn’t enough time.
