What are they thinking?

Why is it that when you shop online you go through hours of a check out process giving them credit card, address info, shipping info, CVS code, sperm sample, blood type, and the color of you mothers hair on a particular Tuesday in 1983 so that you can buy the product, agree to their sales policy, and return (or non-return) and user agreements, when you are finally finished, they give you a link that almost always says “continue shopping” and when you click it, it of course takes you back to the site you JUST finished shopping at.

I can think of many, better places for it to link too. Like maybe here or maybe tailor it to what you just bought. i.e. If you just bought 6 pairs of stiletto heels maybe it could link to here so that you could get some use out of them. They could even hook up with Amazon and Google to get more accurate information. They might then link to this and get you pointed in the right direction. But all they want is your $$$ so they just link back to their site like there is nothing else on the internet. Never mind that my browser history is 98% loaded with their site.
