The server is 90% done. The main parts are complete. The rest are things I need to learn how to do. Like setting up ssh so I can log on to it from upstairs. The real test is tonight, I plan on recording “Heroes” while we watch it. I’ve set it up on the schedule,but I left the front end down in the attempt to understand better. But all the files are where they should be, I just need to redo the file permissions on a lot of them. I somehow have them set as read-only. I also would like to see I I can get it to go to sleep during the night after it does it’s backups, which I still have to set up. So like I said, it’s about 75% done.
Tis the end of the month at work. Very busy. only 2 weeks to go before my scheduled time off before I start to kill people vacation time. My goal is to take it easy for the next little bit.
